Resume issues as owner

Once you have been assigned to an issue as the issue owner, it is displayed in your list of issues and you are notified by e-mail. The editable fields depend on the role with which you open the form and the status. This description applies to editing in the Issue owner role. If you do not have access privileges for an object, you automatically have read privileges for directly assigned objects. You can assign objects to an issue or remove the assignment.

You can also create, resume, and review issues in ARIS. By default, issues are opened in My GRC tasks in ARIS. How to resume issues in ARIS Risk and Compliance is described below.

Prerequisite

You are assigned to an issue as the Issue owner.

Procedure. Procedure
  1. Open the relevant issue.

    1. Click Home Home > My tasks. Your tasks are displayed. Initially, tasks with the Open status are displayed.

    2. Filter the list with the Issue object type.

    3. Click the name of the relevant issue.

  2. Edit the required fields. Before saving, check that the mandatory fields (Mandatory field) have been edited.

    1. For example, state the issue category or describe an immediate measure.

    2. Assign documents with further information, if necessary.

  3. Save your entries and select the status.

    1. Click Save Save. Your entries are saved. The status is automatically set to In progress. If you want to continue later, keep this status.

    2. If you described the solution for the issue, but another user is needed to implement the solution, select the To be implemented status and hand over the issue to another issue owner. You can no longer edit the issue. The new owner of the issue will be notified by e-mail and the issue will be displayed in the issue list of this user. In this case, the new issue owner performs the following task, otherwise you do it.

    3. To complete the issue editing, perform the described tasks to solve the problem. Then, depending on the result, select the status Completed, On hold, or Not possible. You must provide a reason for the status Not possible.

    4. If you changed the status, save your entries again (Save).

Your entries are saved. If you saved the status Completed, Rejected, or Not possible, you can no longer edit the issue. The issue is then displayed to the issue reviewer in My tasks. The users responsible are notified automatically by e-mail.
