Review issues

Once the issue owner saves an issue with the status Completed, Rejected, or Not possible, it is displayed in your list of issues, and you are notified by e-mail. The editable fields depend on the role in which you open the form. This description relates to editing in the Issue reviewer role. If you do not have access privileges for an object, you automatically have read privileges for directly assigned objects. You can assign objects to an issue or remove the assignment.

You can also create, resume, and review issues in ARIS.

Prerequisite

You are assigned to an issue as the Issue reviewer.

Procedure. Procedure
  1. Open the relevant issue.

    1. Click Home Home > My tasks. Your tasks are displayed. Initially, tasks with the Open status are displayed.

    2. Filter the list with the Issue object type.

    3. Click the name of the relevant issue.

  2. Review the issue.

    1. Check the original problem and the solution.

    2. Assign documents with further information, if necessary.

    3. Enter a remark.

  3. Save your entries and select the status.

    1. Click Save Save.

    2. If you want to complete the issue and you agree with the edits, select the status Accepted. If you do not agree, select the status Rejected.

    3. If you changed the status, save your entries again (Save).

Your entries are saved. If you saved the status Accepted, editing is locked for anyone. The issue is complete. The issue owner and issue creator are notified by e-mail.

If you saved the status Rejected, the issue is displayed to the owner role in My tasks with Under investigation status. The issue owner and issue creator receive a notification by e-mail. In this case, the issue must be edited even if it has the status Overdue, that is, the scheduled remediation date was exceeded. You have the option of changing the Remediation planned before date to give the issue owner more time to edit the issue.
