Change weighting of extents/frequencies

You can recalculate risk scores after you changed the weighting of extents and frequencies.

Prerequisite

You have the Environment administrator role or System administrator privileges in ARIS Risk and Compliance.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Click ARIS Risk and Compliance Administration Administration. The General menu item is displayed initially.

  2. Click Basic settings under System management or click Environments under Environment management.

  3. If you selected Environments, click the name of the relevant environment.

  4. Click Risk Management. The form is displayed.

  5. Click the relevant impact type in the Impact types row. The form is displayed.

  6. Click the Extent or Frequency whose weighting you want to change. The form is displayed.

  7. Enter your changes.

  8. Click Save Save.

  9. Click Yes to confirm the dialog when you are prompted.

  10. In the breadcrumb navigation, click the impact type.

  11. Click Update Recalculate risk scores.

  12. Click Yes to confirm the dialog when you are prompted.

The risk assessments based on the changed impact types are updated with the new values of the risk scores. This also applies to already performed risk assessments.
