Edit policy reviews

As soon as policy reviews are generated and the review period was reached, the policy owner roles responsible can view the policy reviews in My tasks. You can Hand over object hand over or Delegate object delegate objects to another role.

Prerequisite

You have the Policy owner role.

Procedure. Procedure
  1. Open the list of policy reviews.

    1. Click Home Home > My tasks. Your tasks are displayed. Initially, tasks with the Open status are displayed.

    2. Filter the list with the Policy review object type.

    3. Check the due date. To do so, sort the list in Sort ascending ascending or Sort descending descending order by clicking the column header.

  2. Edit the required fields.

    1. Click the name of the policy review you want to edit. The form divided into Task and Information is displayed. Use Lists to gain an overview of the objects assigned to the policy roll-out, such as objects, control tests, policy exceptions, or incidents.

    2. Use the description of activities to check whether the policy roll-out is still relevant or needs content editing.

    3. Edit the optional fields.

  3. Save your entries and select the status.

    1. Click Save Save. Your entries are saved. The status is automatically set to In progress. If you want to continue later, keep this status.

    2. If you want to finish editing the policy review, select the status Approve unchanged, Update required, or Cancelation required depending on the result of your review.

    3. If you changed the status, save your entries again (Save).

Your entries are saved. If you selected the status Update required or Cancelation required, the policy managers responsible receive a notification by e-mail to initiate the necessary measures.

If the policy reviews are not edited within the predefined review period, they receive the Not reviewed status when checked and can no longer be edited.
