Manual confirmation versus automatic confirmation
When uploading offline files, you use the confirmation type to specify whether the objects are updated automatically or manually.
Manual confirmation
With the Manual confirmation type, the user selected as editor when uploading receives a notification requesting the correction of any error and the confirmation of any changes. The updated version is saved in ARIS Risk and Compliance only after a check/correction. Since required corrections must be made in ARIS Risk and Compliance, manual confirmation is not appropriate in case an offline operator performs the upload for users who do not have access to ARIS Risk and Compliance.
Automatic confirmation
With the Automatic confirmation type, editable attributes of the offline objects are checked automatically. A notification specifies which objects were successfully updated in ARIS Risk and Compliance and which objects include invalid attribute values and therefore need to be corrected based on the detailed information and then need to be uploaded again.
