Periods of Policy Management
The following time periods are Policy Management-relevant:

Publishing preparation period/Approval period (policy roll-out)
The policy owner can change various attributes of the policy roll-out during the publishing preparation period. As soon as policy owner has set the status to To be approved, the policy approvers can edit the policy roll-out approval. The policy owner can decide whether to approve the policy roll-out, irrespective of whether the policy approvers approved the policy roll-out.
Publishing period (policy roll-out)
As soon as the policy owner sets the status to Approved it is checked whether a start date for the publishing period was specified. If a start date was specified it is checked whether the date has already been reached. If no date was specified the status is set to To be published. The policy owner can then set the policy roll-out status to Published.
Confirmation period (policy roll-out)
Confirmations are generated for the members of the policy addressee role as soon as the policy roll-out is published or users are assigned to the policy addressee role subsequently. The confirmation period is calculated based on the creation date of the policy roll-out confirmation and the confirmation duration.
Review period (policy review)
The policy owner can edit the policy reviews during the review period. The review period is based on the frequency of policy review generation, the date of the first generation of the policy review, and the review duration.
Reviewed period (policy review)
Indicates the period that was reviewed.
