Update mapping file for 'ARCM export' report (ARIS Architect)

The ARCM export report is available by default. This report looks up all objects and models which can be mapped via the entries inside aris2arcm-mapping.xml and exports them as entries to an XML file. The report cannot be run by users. It is started by the Main report for ARCM data transfer report, which is used to transfer the data of your business processes to ARIS Risk and Compliance. It can be necessary to update the aris2arcm-mapping.xml file manually, for example, after customization.

Prerequisite

  • You are script administrator for this tenant.

  • There is a valid modified aris2arcm-mapping.xml file.

Procedure. Procedure
  1. Start ARIS Architect.

  2. Click ARIS > ARIS Architect Administration Administration. The Administration tab opens.

  3. Click Navigation Navigation in the bar panel if the Navigation bar is not activated yet.

  4. Click Evaluations Evaluations > Common files in the tree view.

  5. Right-click aris2arcm-mapping.xml, then click Open. The script opens in Script Editor.

  6. If you want to restore the default mapping later, copy the content of the file into a text editor and save it as a backup in another location.

  7. Replace the current content with your customized content.

  8. Click Save Save.

The aris2arcm-mapping.xml file is updated. The ARCM export report now exports the data based on the customized mapping.

Now you can transfer Risk and Compliance data.
