Generate copy of a deficiency

To document different impacts on various areas and processes, an existing deficiency can be duplicated. For example, if a deficiency that occurred affects not just one department but other subsidiaries as well.

Prerequisite

You have the Deficiency manager role.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Click Explorer Explorer.

  2. Click Deficiency Management > Deficiencies.

  3. Click the ID of the deficiency you want to edit.

  4. Click Duplicate Generate copy to create a new, similar deficiency. The copy is generated.

  5. Change the name and description of the copy, if required.

  6. Edit the duplicated deficiency following the rules used for the other deficiencies. All fields that have been completed in the duplicated deficiency are adopted as suggested values, but they can be changed. If you duplicate a deficiency that has already been released, the status of the copy is set to In progress.

  7. Click Save Save.

The copy is generated as a new object in the list of deficiencies.
