Question types
The question type influences the permitted answer options. The question type must be specified (mandatory field). If no question type is selected, the fields that are dependent on the question type (option set, answers, evaluation of answer) are not displayed.
The following question types are possible:
Single choice
This question type specifies that only one of the answer options can be selected.
Multiple choice
This question type specifies that several answer options can be selected.
Text
This question type specifies that the answer is free text.
Numerical (integer)
This question type specifies that the answer is an integer.
Numerical (floating point number)
This question type specifies that the answer is a floating point number.
Date
This question type specifies that the answer is a date.
Date range
This question type specifies that the answer is a date range (from...to).
You can only assign answers/option sets, and hence also answer values, to the Text, Numerical, Date, and Date range question types if the Evaluation by reviewer attribute is set to Yes. These answers/option sets are then displayed to the survey reviewer for evaluation.
