Regulatory requirement
Regulatory requirements specify the impact a regulation has on the company's business. Affected processes, organizational units etc. are identified. Requirement fulfillment is checked using compliance assessments. Regulatory requirements define the regulation and translate it into business language.
Compliance assessment definition
Compliance assessment definition is used to configure the activities required for checking whether an organization complies with a specific regulation or regulatory requirement. Compliance assessment definitions are the basis for generating compliance assessments.
Compliance assessment
Compliance assessments contain all the information required to assess the fulfillment of regulations or regulatory requirements. If the result is Not compliant, then owner, reviewer, or manager can create an issue, based on which, for example, a new policy is rolled out, processes are adjusted, or a confirmation process is initiated to inform employees about the new or changed regulations.
Compliance assessments are generated from compliance assessment definitions. The regulation owner/hierarchy owner roles responsible can view the compliance assessments in My tasks. The regulation manager/hierarchy manager can view the compliance assessments in Explorer > Regulatory Management.
