How does dashboard integration work?
Dashboards retrieve the required data from ARIS Risk and Compliance using a REST API URL. This URL is used to request data. What data is supplied depends on the parameter settings for the URL and the user's access privileges. URLs with appropriate parameters can be generated in ARIS Risk and Compliance and then be inserted into the data feeds of the corresponding dashboard.
To ensure that only data for which the user has the relevant privileges is displayed, information to authenticate the user is also transferred when the dashboard is called.
ARIS Risk and Compliance objects can be opened from dashboards by opening an ARIS Risk and Compliance URL in a new window. The ID of the object is included with the URL as a parameter. The IDs of all objects from ARIS Risk and Compliance are supplied along with the remaining object attributes by REST API and are thus available in the dashboard.
The available dashboards can be integrated into ARIS Risk and Compliance (Home > My dashboards). By default, dashboards are displayed to all manager roles.
