Roles and users are modeled in an Organizational chart diagram using the object types Role and Person. The relation between the Role object and the Person object is represented by the performs connection. Role types and role levels are specified using the ARIS Risk and Compliance role type and ARIS Risk and Compliance role level attributes of the Role object.

Note

Migrate the Risk and Compliance roles before you transfer Risk and Compliance data that follow the former modeling convention (up to version 10.0.17).

The following objects are generated in ARIS Risk and Compliance:

  • The Risk owner role Sales and Risk owner role IT roles that have the Risk owner role type with object-specific role level assigned.

  • Two users with the user name Tom Owen and Claire Example. They have the role type and role level of the role they are assigned to (= object-specific Risk owner). Tom Owen is assigned to both roles Risk owner role Sales and Risk owner role IT.
