Open data from ARIS in ARIS Risk and Compliance

You can open data from ARIS in ARIS Risk and Compliance.

Prerequisite

  • You have a Risk and Compliance role that allows you to open Risk and Compliance data, for example, Risk manager role for risk data.

  • You have the required privileges in ARIS, for example, the license privileges ARIS Connect Viewer or ARIS Connect Designer.

  • You have the required privileges in ARIS Risk and Compliance, Risk and Compliance (Operate) or Risk and Compliance (Contribute).

  • The ARIS database reference is up to date.

From the overview fact sheet

You can open the following items in an overview fact sheet in ARIS and from there in ARIS Risk and Compliance and vice versa: risks, controls, control execution definitions, control test definitions, policy templates, survey schedulers, questionnaire templates, as well as process, regulation, organization, and risk category hierarchy elements.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Start ARIS.

  2. Click Application launcher Application launcher > Published content ARIS Published content.

  3. Open the relevant overview fact sheet, for example, a Risk overview fact sheet.

  4. Click Open in ARIS Risk and Compliance Open in ARIS Risk and Compliance. The button is only displayed for elements that exist in ARIS Risk and Compliance.

  5. If you are logged in as a user with cross-environment authorization, a dialog is displayed with the available environments. Select the environment and click OK.

The selected element is opened in ARIS Risk and Compliance.

From the assigned items lists

You can open the following items from a list in ARIS in ARIS Risk and Compliance:

  • Regulatory change reviews from a Regulation or Technical term fact sheet

  • Compliance assessments from a Requirement and a Compliance assessment definition fact sheet

  • Policy roll-outs and Policy reviews from a Policy fact sheet

  • Risk assessments and Incidents from a Risk fact sheet

  • Control executions and Control tests from a Control fact sheet

  • Control tests from a Control test definition fact sheet

  • Control executions from a Control execution definition fact sheet

  • Surveys from a Survey scheduler fact sheet

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Start ARIS.

  2. Click Application launcher Application launcher > Published content ARIS Published content.

  3. Open the item for which you want to show the assigned items, for example, a risk.

  4. Click the relevant list, for example, Risk assessments. The list is displayed.

  5. Click the name of the relevant item.

The item form is displayed in ARIS Risk and Compliance.
