Deactivate and reactivate objects

You can deactivate objects to remove them from the list of active objects, or you can reactivate them to redisplay them in the list.

Warning

The Deficiency, Loss, Internal message and Server task information objects cannot be reactivated.

Prerequisite

  • You have the required role.

  • Some objects can only be deactivated if they have a certain status. For detailed information, refer to Deactivate and reactivate of the respective component.

Procedure. Procedure

    Deactivate objects

    1. Open the list that contains the objects you want to deactivate.

    2. To deactivate the object, click Deactivate/Delete object Deactivate at the end of the corresponding row. Alternatively, Check box enabled activate multiple objects and click Deactivate/Delete object Deactivate above the list.

    3. Click Yes to confirm the dialog when you are prompted.

    The objects are deactivated and removed from the list.

    Reactivate objects

    1. Open the list that contains the object you want to reactivate.

    2. Apply the filter that displays the deactivated objects. The deactivated objects are displayed.

    3. Click Reactivate Reactivate in the rows of the objects that you want to reactivate. Alternatively, activate (Check box enabled) multiple objects and click Reactivate Reactivate above the list.

    The objects are reactivated and can be edited like any other active object.
